How FIXTURELINE handles your data

FIXTURELINE is an early-stage, independently-run project. This page describes plainly and accurately what the app actually does with your data today — it is not a substitute for professional legal advice, and will be revisited as the product grows.

What we collect

Email address — only if you create an account (via email/password or Google/Apple sign-in). Used solely to identify your account, send account-related emails (confirmation, password reset), and, only if you turn them on, send weekly matchday emails (a Friday preview and a Monday recap). Every matchday email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can turn them off any time in Account Settings.
Favorite teams — stored in your browser's local storage if you're not signed in, or synced to your account (so it follows you across devices) if you are.
Basic hosting logs — standard infrastructure logs (e.g. request IP addresses) kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention, not used to build a profile of you.

We do not collect payment information (the app is currently free), and we do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics pixels.

Third-party services we use

Supabase — authentication and database hosting for your account and favorites.
Google / Apple — only if you choose "Continue with Google/Apple" to sign in; we receive basic profile info (email) from them.
API-Football & The Odds API — sources of match fixtures, results, and betting-market data. These do not receive or process any of your personal data.
Anthropic (Claude) — generates the tactical scout report text from match statistics. Does not receive or process your personal data.
Vercel — hosting infrastructure for the site and backend.
Resend — delivers the emails we send, including matchday emails if you turn them on. Receives your email address and the email's content.

Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your favorite teams and basic app preferences when you're not signed in. We don't use tracking cookies or cross-site advertising identifiers.

Data retention & deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@fixtureline.app. We'll delete your account, email, and synced favorites promptly upon request.

Children's privacy

FIXTURELINE is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of FIXTURELINE after a change means you accept the updated policy.
